Tournament Captains
In most corporate golf outings, either for clients or sales meeting, as well as most charity outing, the pro shop at the golf course does a lot of the work on the day of the event. But, what about all the work that goes on leading up to the event? GolfCaptains.com is working on a solutions to make your work a lot easier.
Tournament Captains will focus on providing features that simplify the process and result in a better turnout for your events. Here are some of the Functions and Features we are working on:
- Pairings Options
- Social Balancing: minimizes the number of times players play with the same player over the schedule of games
- ABCD: Uses handicaps to balance the teams
- Home page for each event
- Activity calendar to track critical event work efforts
- Tournament Information Center: Details of the tournament, including date, place, times, sponsorship date, etc
- Roster of all players alphabetically for check in
- Roster of all teams, by starting hole for pro shop
- Ability to generate different types of emails
- Invitations
- Reminders/Confirmations
- General Updates

- Self Directed: The captain is presented with blank team sheets that they populate from the Member Roster
